We celebrated local Fall fishing by hosting a community fish chowder dinner on Wednesday, November 6th and we couldn’t have done it without John Ski’s help. John helped encourage our talented local fisherman to donate freshly caught Blackfish for the chowder. He also very generously smoked Farrow Island salmon for us and everyone appreciated this delectable treat! Our chowder was delicious, mainly because the fish was so very fresh. With the chowder, we served a big green salad and buttery garlic bread. Linda Mrowka prepared her amazing Apple Crisp for dessert. We hosted a sold out crowd and everyone enjoyed a lovely evening. Special thanks to our fishermen for their generosity: John Ski, Luis Horn, Karl and Lisa Eirikson, Gail and Greg Cypherd, and Paul Vartanian.
