Abby McCall has worked for many years in events and fundraising in Princeton, New Jersey, both at The Princeton Public Library and The Lawrenceville School. She joined the Community Center in early 2022 to take over programming and marketing. Abby holds a BA degree from Barnard College in New York and spent the early years of her career in book publishing. Currently, Abby is on the Board at the Fishers Island Library and oversees their monthly book group.
Abby and her husband David have lived on Fishers full time since 2021 and have deep ties to the Island. David’s family became homeowners on Fishers over 50 years ago, but his grandparents and great-grandparents were here before that. David McCall is the FI Ferry District Island Manager. Their three children are 29, 27, 22 and all return frequently. Their daughter Kat, a teacher in Denver, is currently the Director of the Fishers Island IPP Morning Program. When not at the Community Center, Abby is frequently spotted walking her dog Jasper on the South Beach road.
