We are delighted to announce that Stonington artist Howard Park is returning to teach art at the Community Center. Mark your calendars so you don’t miss out and sign up for March right now.
In this workshop Howard will teach color theory and value studies, working in watercolor or oils. He will show everyone how to set up a color wheel that they can then use with their chosen pallet. The students will We then make paintings from the color wheel. These would be one shot, or “premier coup” paintings, which means generally small paintings done with the minimal amount of mark making and are a bit on the abstract side. As always, Howard is very flexible to teach all students on an individualized and personal basis.
March 12 & 13 $110 for one day, $200 for both days
